What this is

One Markdown vault, read directly.
Every note is a plain .md file on disk with YAML frontmatter — Obsidian-compatible, and readable without HQ running.
Frontmatter is a typed collection.
The same files render as a spreadsheet with filters, sorting, inline editing and cycle-normalised totals.
Titles, fields and body text are indexed.
The index is rebuilt the moment a file is saved, whether HQ, Obsidian or an agent wrote it.
Every write is a commit.
The vault is a git repository, so each note carries its own history of who changed what and when.
Agents work through the same vault.
An MCP server exposes the reads and writes this interface uses. There is no second source of truth.
